| Heavy Rains early on Saturday made for a wet start to the ride. The ponies were absent to start and all ended up going towards Little Beach. The group of riders there worked to get all the ponies heading towards the corral, “Wildest Dreams” colt got entangled in some brush and the mother continued running. The cowboys were forced to capture it to prevent losing it, they then transferred the foal to a boat where they brought the foal to a trailer and then to the corral where it was reunited with mom. Quick thinking on their part! The ponies all made their way to the corral safely. Vet checks and tagging were quick and easy! |
